The vsssels will go below the surface for safety in the event of striking storms. A small platform is provided for the men to take exercise, except in rough weather. They will remain three days in ports where they call for food, fuel and overhaul. AN IMPORTANT POSITION. Melbourne, February 28. Applications are invited fur the position of director of Navigation at a salary of £BOO to £IOOO.
