Nominations for Fire Brigade Events close with the Secretary of the Waitara Fire Brigade on SATURDAY, February' 28, at 9 p.m. Entrance Fee, (id per man, closes on the ground at noon on the day.
RULES AND REGULATIONS. Sports commence at 11 .1.111. The committer Uolil the right to postpone or niter programme. All Nominations close with the Secretary on SATURDAY, February 28th 1014. All Handicaps will be declared in the Tnninalci Daily News and Waitara Evening Mail. The Committee reserves the right to re-handicap any competitor. All events run under the X.Z. Athletic Union and X.Z. Axemen's Association. All competitors must lie registered, and this Rule wilt he strictly enforced. Nominations for Events !i, 5, 6, 11, 12, 14, 15 and 10 must be made in writing, and accompanied by necessary fees and definite particulars of last two years' performances. If no performances in that time, the last four, or any, to he given. Five competitors must start, or no second anil third prizes given. AH Acceptances must be in the hands of the Secretary on or before 11 a.m. on day of Sports. In the Double-handed Sawing Events name of mate must he given, otherwise nomination will not lie accepted. All protests must lie in the hands of the Secretary, in writing, not later than a quarter of an hour from the finish of the event in dispute. Protests must be accompanied by a deposit of 10s.
