ODDF ELLO WS 111 P. By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, Yesterday. The annual district meeting of Oddfellows carried a resolution strongly objecting to the consolidation of sick funds proposal, and instructed its delegates to the conference to oppose the project strenuously. ODDFELLOWS' SICK FUND. Auckland, Wednesday. At the annual conference of the Independent Order of Oddfellows a long debate took place on the question of consolidating the sick funds of the lodges in the Auckland district. By-48 votes to 12 it was resolved—"That the sick funds of lodges in the Auckland district be consolidated." The question of the amendment of the rules to allow of the change being made will now have to be considered.
