THE MEYER NECKLACE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright London, February 25. A large pearl, valued at £II,OOO, belonging to Meyer's famous necklace, has been mysteriously traced and recovered, but the circumstances have not been divulged. The insurance assessors recovered three of the pearls, valued at £12,000, as the result of negotiations with persons, whose identity has been kept secret. The pearl, valued at £4OO, which Home lost in a bar-room, and the diamond clasp are alone missing. Meyer now values the necklace at £150,000.
