The Borough Council of New Plymouth asked permission to encroach on section lfllia, leased by Mrs. Evetts under Education Reserve lease, for the purpose of diverting Mangaotuku stream and raising levels of streets.—Consent given, subject to the stream diversion and raising of levels It was resolved that P. J. Wasley, who was compelled through an accident bushfalling, to forfeit section 7. block 10, Aria, be not disqualified under section 15 (I) Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, and also to take steps to get Mr. Tolme's report.

Mrs. Oillbanks' interest in section 43, Spotswood, were forfeited. \V. A. Thornton, lessee of section 1, block ■>, Totoro, was called on to show cause why his interest should not be forfeited for non-residence.—Action suspended.

It was resolved to give the parties notice that consent to transfer section S, block 5, Aria, Cobiirn. to self and Ansell, will be withdrawn if the transfer was not registered within one month. It was proposed to ?ive Messrs Simson Bros., notice of forfeiture of lease of section 11, block 4, Ngaire, owing to unsatisfactory position in regard to residence. John Corlett was called on to show cause why his interest in section 1, block 10, Waro, should not bo forfeited for non-residence. He annlied for exemption from residence on the ground that there is no school for his children to attend—Exempted for 12 months. h. J. Ashworth, lessee of section 2, block (J, Upper Waitara, asked for exemption from residence and forwarded doctor's certificate. Six months.' exemption granted. * V. liandley, lessee o' section 8, block 0, Upper Waitara, 030 acres, applied for permission to reside at Urenui owing to no road access to section.—Granted during the pleasure of the Board. It was resolved to approve of the issue of freehold titles to s ctinns 2 and 3 block 11, Opaku, held by Jas.. Dallon on' 0.R.P., all conditions having been complied with. K. Ricknrd, lessee of sections (Ml, 07, Ofl, Spotswood, 23 acres, applied ' - convert to deferred payment.—Granted, subject to conditions of residence. McKen/.ie and Ilolloway, lessees of section l.">, block !), Totoro, 201 acres lr lOp, applied for deferred Dayment license.—Granted, subject to * residence conditions. W. h. Oldham applied to be relieved of section 0, block 11, Mahoe, 530 acres, selected by liim on 19th June, 1913, on O.R.P.—Decided to cancel his license subject to payment of rent to da'e of forfeiture. 11. C. S. Bullcott stated he would abandon section (i, block 5, Huiroa— The land will be re-offered for selection at s> cardial value of £l3 ss.
