The Joe-key Club Committee considered_ Jockey Fjimnerson's appeal in connection with liis .Mi.spen.sion, They found the handling of the horse Stratlifiold by Emmerson was most unsatisfactory, hut there was an element of doubt a; to whether lie rode with dishonest intention of preventing his mount from winning. In view of this and his previous good character, ihey upheld the appeal, besides removing Kmmerson'a suspension. The decision also removes the disqualification of 12 months, imposed on Tyrrell, the trainer of the liorse StratWield.
