TARANAKI SHOW.
OPENS TO-DAY. All day yesterday the committee of the Tmanaki Agricultural Society was hard at work arrangirg for the uccoui--modation of the exhibits for the autumn show, which will open to-day. Stock arrived by road and by train,' and the racecourse was alive with committeemen and exhibitors. Every arrangement has been completed for the comfort of exhibitors, judges, and patrons. Besides the usual side-shows, there will be numerous competition* w ]ii c i, should appeal to everyone. A specially interesting feature of these will be the harnessing and unharnessing competition for ladies, which had drawn it large entry. Granted fine weaflier, the attendance on the People"* Day should ba a record one. The judges are asked to meet at the Criterion Hotel at 5.45 a.m. to-day.
