■ At a meeting Jiold 011 Monday evening it was decided to hold a picnic at Stratford on St, Patrick's Day, followed by a Catholic social in the Town Hall at night. Messrs. E. Kellehcr and W. •Bowler were elected secretary and treasurer respectively. Tit for tat! The Oliura people contemplate feasting upon the beauties and good things of Xeu- Plvmouth and Stratford.
A meeting of householders was held ■at Salisbury road on Monday evening in connection with the annual school and settlers' picnic. The function was fixed for the first Thursday in April, to be followed by the usual concert and dance in the evening.
