THE NORWOODS. A popular class of entertainment of unique character will bo presented at the 1 heatre Royal on Wednesday anil Thursday evening, February 25 and 2fi (fellow nights), by the famous Amtrican hypnotist, Professor Norwood, whose return to New Plymouth, for a farewell visit, is looked forwarl to with eager interest. The Carterton News of September 22, 1913, says: "The Norwoods, hypnotic entertainers, broke all entertainment records in Carterton-.'by running a phenomenal season of four nights. The Norwoods seem to have hypnotised the whole community. Each night saw a bigger crowd in Victoria Hall, and on Saturday night—the. closing performance—people had to be turned away. The acts or tests given were extremely ludicrous, more especially the 'barnyard' and the monkeys,' the subjects m these scenes imagining themselves to be the inhabitants of a barnyard, and members of the forest tribe. The mental telepathy act of Miss Norwood was again demonstrated, and the most difficult problems were carried out accurately aml easily. Kven the Daily Now, representative was handcuffed!"
