NEW PLYMOUTH v. PHIAMA. A friendly bowling match took place on the New Plymouth Club's green on Saturday between two rinks representing Pihania and New Plymouth Clubs. A few weeks ago two rinks of the local club journeyed to Pihania, and Saturday's was the return match. New Plymouth won by 52 to 31. Details:— Pihama,—Pope, Harrop, Edwards, W. Lambie 14; v. New Plymouth—Fookes, Burgess, Harrison, Bary 28. Baylis, R. Lambie, Julian, Mason 17; v. Wood, Grey, S. Rundle, 11. Smart 24.
A rink of master printers "tried conclusions with a local rink, winning bv 29 to 13.
