Bates, Dominion MeteprologUt, furnishes the following summary and forecast : Nummary—Cloudy and changeable Weather lias been experienced generally, though light vain lias fallen only in scattered parts. The .atmospheric pressure is still low to the northward, but has \ Increased in the »outh, and strong ea?t south-easterly winds now prevailed. Forecast—Unsettled weather and rain in the north and Kast Coast districts, strong south-easterly winds northward of Farewell Spit and Kaikoura, but southerly, changing.to north elsewhere shortly. Barometer unsteady, and probably falling again in about 2* hours.
