The livist-talked-akmt event at the present time is the Taranaki Agricultural Society's autumn show, to lie held next AVednesdiiy and Thursday. February, 25 and 2ti. Splendid entries have been received ill nearly all the classes scheduled, ami ii'mongst the exhibits will he found some of the bc-t stock in the Dominion. The competitive classes have all filled well, and as those who will face the judges in these classes have had a good deal of show ring experience, lovers of this class of snort will not lie disappointed. The committee is doing everything possibly to provide for the entertainment and comfort of the public, so that both the country people, for whom special train arrangement* have been made, and those from the town, can rest assured that a gooti outing is in store for them.
