Tiie weather has been warm, unsettled and gloomy, under the influences of storm areas centred both to the northward and southward of the Dominion. Casterly winds have ruled in the northern districts, and high northerly and westerly winds in the South. The barometer rose during the night, but fell lightly to-day, 'Forecast.—Present indications are for ioudy and unsettled weather with rain, frobul.te generally; expect strong and Jqually northerly and westerly winds, fflhe barometer is unsteady, with a falling tendency.
