DLWKDLV WOOL SALES. By Telegraph— Press Association. Dnnedin, Yesterday. The tliird nf the series of wool gules, consisting principally ( ,{ wools from tliu high country, commenced this morning'. Competition was keener than at the last sale. Bradford buyers competing closely for all sorts, and the local mills being eager for super lots of merino and halfhreds. The tolal number of bales offered was 14,015, las against 72til bales at the corresponding sale of last year. In the lirst few sales it was evident that strong wools were about '/, d better that at last sale and line wools about the same. The New Zealand Loan Company sob! 23 hales of super merino on behalf of.Kain I'.ros. (lieauinont) at 14Vid, a New Zealand record for the season.
