The Association for the Protection of Native Races discussed the alleged illtreatment of natives in the New Hebrides, and decided to bring the circumstances under the notice of the Admiral, the Minister for External Affairs, the High Commissioner for the. Western Pacific, and the Secretary of State for the Colonies, with a view to preventing such abuses of justice as it is alleged occurred at the sitting of the joint naval commission held at Villa in December last.
