Further, be stated that 7441bs of meat supplied by Tlorthwick's ■ on October 4. and SOfilhs'on November 30 was rejected as unfit for food on arrival, due. to the delayed transit. Mr. Hunt asked whether Borthwick's had been invited to tender. Mr. Baker replied that tender forms had been issued to a large number of firms, including Borthwick's.
