CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH.
THE FORWARD MOVEMENT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland. February 14. The Congregatibnal Union has appointed a committee to carry through the forward movement. The members oi the committee are: Otago, Rev. Mr. Saunders, Messrs. Barr and Williamson; Canterbury, Rev. Messrs Johnson and Sarginson, and Mr. A. Beaven; Wellington, Revi Messrs Reed, Glasson and Meadowsoti, and Mr. Lewis; Auckland, Hon. Geo. Fowlds, Rev. Mr. Oaik, and Mr. S. Smeeton. ,
It was also resolved : to form a pastoral settlement, removal, and 1 supply committer, to control the filling of vacancies, arrange removals, and generally help in the matter of pastoral settlement and supply throughout New Zealand.
