J DUFAULT PLAN NOW OI'KX. | Tlic box plan lor tin' Paul Dufault I joonci'it is mow upon at Collier's, and judging by the already heavy sale of seats the great tenor bids lair to receive tlie welcome to which he is entitled. Paul Dufault is. as the Adelaide Register expresses it. "A singer who pleases all the people all (he tinie." One does not have ti, lie a cultured musician to enjoy the vivid pictures in song which this great tenor presents. 1 His programmes are given almost entirely in English. Where there is a foreign song, the translation alwayi appears on the printed programme. Mr. Dufault lias lately introduced a new note of personal intimacy into bis concerts, as he adds to the charm of his singing by prefacing some of his songs with an informal little talk across the footlights as to what the son:- means to him. This habit of explaining the meaning of the songs was one which David ISispham introduced into Austral-J ia, and which might be followed, with great advantage, by other vocalists. M> Dufault will be assisted by Pauline Bindley, the Bendigo soprano, who is said to possess a charming voice, and a most delightful personality. Knicst Toy, the Queensland violinist, who is .•well-known to us from hi-| previous tours of the Dominion, and Harold Whittle, pianist, whose popularity is almost universal, and who has visited us many times in the support of almost every great artist who lia- toured the Dominion.
