CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS. By Telegraph—-Press Association. Dnnncvirke, Ltfist Night. The fifth annual show o£ the Dannevirke District A. and P. Society opened to-day in glorious weather, anil with a large attendance. The display ef stock on the whole was particularly good, the entile classes being very keenly contested. The Ayrshires came in for special comment. The champions were as follow: Border Leicester ram and ewe, .1. A. Welsh; Southdowns, ram, P. ft. L. MacKcnzic; ewe, r.llm Bros. Lineolns, ram, 0. McDonald; ewe, H. Caisford. Homncys, ram and ewe, G. E. Allen. Jerseys, cow, 11. Stratford; bull, J. Murray. Holsleins, cow, Weniroa Experimental Farm; hull, W. I. Lovelock. Hereford*, cows, 11. I?. Stuelccy; hull, T. 11. Tinnier. Polled Angus, cow and hull, F. Armstrong. Ayrshires, cow, J. V. G. Slack; bull, D. Buchanan. Tlie competitions resulted: Bestpaced hack, M. P. Knight 1: Miss M.
