I PROTEST FROM HINDUS. NO PROMISES MADE. ,By Cable —Press Association—Copyrignt Washington, February 10. Dr. Ishcr Singh, of Punjaub, and Dr. Subhinara Boss, of Calcutta, formally protested to Chairman Burnett against the proposed Immigration Bill, excluding Hindus from the United States. They asked that Hindus through the country be first given a hearing. Mr. Burnett refused to promise anything.
