He wa» a supporter of LoTd Rosebcry, a Liberil Imperialist, a man marked by courage and independence of character. Besides his knowledge of municipal affairs, Mr. Miinrd-Ferguso'ii brings" i knowledge of scientific agriculture and forestry which would be of the greatest b«nefit to th» Commonwealth if they cared to use it.
