A Startling Theory
WIRELESS DANCERS SUGGESTED. THE VOLTURNO AND LIBERTE DISASTERS. By Cable-Press Association—Cn K right Received 10, 10.5 p.m. Paris, February 10. 11. Bourouier, , a well-known electrician, has advanced a startling theory. He declares he has reason to believe that wireless waves arc responsible for several recent catastrophes, notably the Volturno and the explosion of the battleship Libertc. He explained experiments in his laboratory midway between the Eiffel Tower and Rochefort tower. The Rochefort wireless stations show that whenever two places arc sending messages simultaneously, inexplicable phenomena are produced by intersection waves. Two glass globes filled with inflammable gas were exploded by the disturbance. Tliub set up he points out the Volturno was in exactly the same zone all the > time of the disaster, and the Libertc, when destroyed, was between two other wireless stations.
