The question of auctioneers' licenses, the number issued to any firm, and the .number of men who may conduct auction sales on account of such firm, at one nnd the same time, was aired at the Borough Council meeting on Monday night, and inquiry will be made. The Stratford Municipal Brass Band has kindly offered to render a programme of music at the hospital on a Sunday afternoon in the near future, and a collection will be taken up in aid of the hospital funds.
