During the year th»ro were nine male members and three, members' wives died, the suni of £33.") being paid out for funeral money, or an increase of £55 for the year. The sickness of the members was 170fi weeks, and the sum paid for sick pay totalled £1230 3s Sd, being an increase, for the veair of £2 17s 3d. Tiros. C. F. Foote, <"'. T. Mills, and A. 11. Arnold were re-elected auditors. It was decided to hold the next District delegate meeting at Inglewood.
The election of officers resulted in Ihe. choice of:-D.C.R., Bio. A. J. Way; D.S.Cit.. p.™. A. Cold well; D.W., Bro. T. M. Avery; D.8., Bro. W. Sullivan. The above officers were duly installed info their respective places bv P.D.C.K. Bro. A. Tunbridge, assisted by D.T. 80. 11. P. Cattley. I'.D.C.n. Bro. B. V Kivcll was presented with a jewel in honor of past service- as District Chief KangerThe delegates and officers were received and entertained by the members: of Courts Stratford and Lady Islington. A lengthy report was read from r.D.C.U. Ili'o. C. 11. Weston, who represented this District at the High Court meeting of Foresters held in Manchester, England, and it was resolved that the District place on record its appreciation of the services rendered by Bro. Weston while in England.
