BULKS AND REGULATIONS. 1. Competitors for all events, excepting No«. 1. 4, 7, 9 and 12, must have resided withinl the boundaries of the Clifton football district for at least three Hionlhs prior to date of sports. 2. Six to start in events 2 and B, or prize money reduced in proportion. 3. Nominations close with the secretary on February 23.' 4. Handicaps will be declared on Feb> ruary 28. 5. All events run. under, the Taranaki Caledonian and Athletic .Association rules. 0. All nominations to be accompanied with the necessary fees; also with all performances during the last two years. If none during that time, the last two to be given. 7. Protests, accompanied by a fee of ss, must be in the hands of the secretary within ten minutes of the finish of the event, the deposit to be forfeited if protest be not upheld. 8. Competitors for No. 11 must have resided within the boundaries formed by the Onacro River on the south, and the Mimi and Mangamaeho rivers on the north, for at least three months prior to date of sports. 9. Three to start, or no race; four or no second prize. 10. The committee reserve the right .to postpone the sports or make any alterations in the programme that may be deemed necessary. , 11. A gun will be fired three minutes before the start of each race, and the » race will start punctually upon the expiry of such three minutes. 12. Competitors in events Nos. 4, 7 and 12 must have blocks ready when called upon. No exception will be made. Admission to grounds: Adults, Is; children under 12, fld.
