ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
LABORER COMMITS SUICIDE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Duncdin, Wednesday. The Inspector of Police has received information that Robert Murray, a single man, 34 years of age, and living with his mother at Outram, committed suicide to-day by cutting his throat with a razor. Deceased was a laborer. STRUCK BY AN ENGINE. Wellington, Wednesday. John Myers, supposed to be a shearer, while crossing Lamblon railway station yard this afternoon, was struck by the engine of an incoming train. Apparently he did not see the train, as lie was dodging a cattle train that was being shunted on the next line, and so walked right in front of the second engine, which could not be pulled up -before it was on him. Myers is badly injured about the head and body, and bis condition is regarded as critical, lie U '■»' lieed to be a native of Australia.
