PROFICIENCY CERTIFICATE holders are admitted to all classes free of charge. There is no age limit. Other students £1 ss per term for any or all of the classes. Students outside New Plymouth may obtain certificate for Free Railway Pass on application to the Director. The Courses of Instruction are:— (1) INDUSTRIAL (including Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Machine Drawing and Construction, Practical Mathematics, Farm Carpentry and Metal Work, Elementary Plumbing, Elementary Agriculture). (2) COMMERCIAL (including Bookkeeping, Typewriting, Shorthand, Commercial English and Arithmetic; Accountancy and advanced work generally for senior students). (3) DOMESTIC (including Cookery, Dressmaking, Millinery, Domestic Hygiene and Home Nursing, and Laundry Work). A Combined Course can be arranged i; necessary.
