Sydney Nathaniel Bernstein, known as McKenna, appeared in court under a warrant issued at Auckland for extradition, on a charge of stealing goods and money, Che property of Hannah Bro.i. Defendant said he was not guilty of any criiue. The purchases were made on time payment. An extradition order was made, and tlue defendant sent to New Zealand. Bail was allowed on accused's own recognisance for £3OO and two others at £l5O.
