The formal opening of the Domiiiinii ('omcntion of Hip Young .Men's Christ ion Association took place, yesterday morning, when tlie service w*» conduct - oil in the concert hall liy the Rev. A. 11. Colvile, and was largely attended by delegates from all over New Zealand. A consecration service was held in the aflernoon. at which addresses, were delivered by Messrs. If. W. Kearsley (Wellington), and 0. <'l. Wilcox (Invcrcargill). Special addresses on Y.M.C.A. work were delivered in tin' evening 'it various churches and missions. A comJprcHcnsivc programme of conferences and meetings of various kinds have been arranged for the present week.
