S. t.'onuett, president of the Taranaki Agricultural Society "i beg to forward herewith a copy of a letter jvhicli I have received from the Secretary for Agriculture, Industries and Commerce, covering a copy of the regulations under the Board of Agriculture Act and explaining' brielly the procedure to be adopted in connection with the recommendation by Agricultural and i'astoral Societies of persons for appointment to the Board. Von will see that it devolves on Die to call a meeting 0 f delegates, at which the person to represent our group of societies can be selected, and I forward herewith a notice in regard to the time and place of the meeting."
The notice mentioned iixed the time of meeting at 10.30 a.m. on Monday, February i), at the Stratford A. and P. Association's offices.
