BOXSHALL INTERVIEWED. Christchurch, Yesterday. The Canterbury members of the New Zealand team have returned. Boxshail, Interviewed, said the tour was undoubtedly of great benefit to the batting and fielding. The great fault of tho batsmen was not getting over the off balls properly, the pace of the pitch preventing the effective usct of cutting as done on New Zealand wickets. Taylor was the best of tfce colts, and Sneddon showed splendid form, and was complimented by experts. Reese missed hia second hundred at Adelaide through exhaustion. Sandman was tho best allround player. Robinson was as fast as any bowler played against, and it was aj discovery for tho Dominion that Bennett was undoubtedly the safest bowler and field. They learnt they must use judgment and adopt safe tactics rather than be brilliant in the out-iicld.
