It was the. first occasion thi- digrce. lui.-= lieen conferred in the Dominion. It was agreed to grant Arthur lliisl.li,IVarson. RIUC, Kdiiilmrsrh and Glasgow, the diploma of public health in the Xew Zealand University.
As regards the medical students who went north to assist the authorities in combatting the smallpox epidemic, Hi" Senate resolved that a special examination lie held in March, provided that the Health Department will hear the expense ef the examination. The department has agreed to do so.
