TAI HAL" ALRU MAORI SI'uKTS. | To-day, at the Hecreation Sports Ground, the Tai llau Auru .Maori sports meeting will be held, and should attract a good attendance, as splendid entries have been received for all the athletic and cycling- events. Good competition is also expected in the events of a purely Maori character, viz.. potatopeeling competition, poi damn-.- and litikas. A band will be present on die ground to enliven proceedings. In the. evening- there will be a concert and dance in the Good Templar llnli.
