It is reported the company is backed by several prominent, Iyiglish capitalists, and has a subscribed capital of a million dollars. The intention is to run a monthly or bi-monthly line of 13-knot vessels, with extensive insulated space, and but one class of passenger accommodation, direct to Melbourne, with the option of calling at airy other ports in Australasia.
