The I'rime MMinister, speaking at the luncheon of the Australian Natives' Association, said the problem of the Pacific was a big order. They must always look on the Pacific with an anxious eye, but should tnUe a broad vjpw. The problem itself was fraught with tremendous importance to that part of the Empire. He doubted whether any country in the world could fival the achievements of Australia. He asked whether any other country could say it had built up wealth (mounting to 1250 millions.
Mr. Fisher, Leader of (lie Opposition in the Federal House, said he had never lad any other view than that the Pacific, belonged to Australia. Mr, Moir sfiid should bo willing to take, up a determined attitude as to the control of the Pacific and say it nust be dominated by the British race.
