EASTERN BENGAL TERRORISTS. | AN ALLEGED CONSPIRACY. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Calcutta, January 26. Notwithstanding a press statement t.i. the contrary, the Commissioner of Police asserts that a criminal conspiracy among the 'better classes exists in India. Dacoits seriously wounded Mr. Higgins, a prominent planter at Chittagong. Mr. Higgins shot one of hif assailants dead. The police are making determined efforts to crush the terrorists :n Eastern Bengal.
