A Maori was pulled aboard the launch, and a second man was helped aboard with the aid of a lishing-line. The third man, who was fully clothed, was carried away by the big current. One of the fi.-hermen jumped from the launch with a lifebuoy, and found the man hud iisappcared. but by diving recovered him. The man was gol aboard unconscious, but his life was restored by artificial respiration.
