Bewlcy meantime was hitting in all directions, but several oilier wickets fell cheaply. Bewlcy was eventually bowled by Mason for 80 runs. Then ensued a long and slo.v partnership between Elliott and Billing, and the Nmv Plymouth fielders ami bowlers had a wearisome time. Klliott eventually fell to Laurence for HI and Billing was bowled by Nicoll for 27. The tali did not wag. The innings closed for IS4 runs.
