DAY. Yesterday wa- reserved as children's day at Kawc.roa Park, and from 10 a.m. a tide of diminutive humanity set in from all directions and spread itself over the park and on the beach which front; it. The numbers of adults who also attended appeared to enjoy themselves as much as the children, ami entered into the spirit of the diw with a will. Sideshows of every description were provided to catch tlie nimble MXpciice or the humble copper, and guessing cornpetition young ladies beset the path of the unwary. During the afternoon music was supplied by Mr L. K. Hoffmann, in the shape of a pianola. Afternoon tea and ot::er refreshments '.'.ere dispensed by a capable ladies' committee.
