The second wool sale of tlie season was held here yesterday, when '27.17!) bales were oli'ered, as compared with -7.AM at the January sale last year. The altendance of interested wool growers was larger than has ever lieen hefore sit Dunedin. Competition for all descriptions of wool lias never lieen more animated, and the result was never more satisfactory to vendors. As regards the condition of the wool offered, this year's clip is. in buyers' opinion. of higher yield than lias been the ease for many years. In considering the priors this fact should not be overlooked, for farm wools ollered in December cannot be compared with the light-conditioned wools from Iho r.uns sold at this sale.
