A RADIUM INSTITUTE. By Telegraph—Tress Association. Palmerston North, Last Nij»ht. A proposal is being made to establish a radium institute for the North Island with Palmerston for its centre. The Borough Council agreed unanimously to transfer one acre of ground to the future trustees of the institute, and to in evenway support its establishment. Dr. Martin leaves for the Old Country i;i April, and will make exhaustive inquiries regarding radium and report on his return. ACCLIMATISATION? SOCIETY VISKh Timaru, Last Night. The Asliimvtoii Acclimatisation Society was to-day fined £1 on each of two charges for selling fishing licenses within the South Canterbury Acclimatisation district. TIMAUrj WOOL SALES.
