OUTBREAK. ON A STEAMER. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Melbourne, January 211. The Arab lireuieu have been attacked with smallpox, aboard (he French mail steamer Caledonien from Nomura to Marseilles. The vessel called at Sydney, hut as the disease lakes twelve days to develop, it was evidently contracted at New Caledonia. The necessary precautious have been adopted.
