BRASS BAND CONTEST.
LIST OF KXTBiES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Lust Night. Sixteen "A" grade, and 13 "B" grade hands have entered for the Exhibition brass bands' contest, which i.s to be 'held in February. There are 401) entries for solo events and the total prize-money is £OOSO. The following bands will compete:— '"A" grade—Kaikorai, Weslport, .Auckland Harrison, Waihi, Invercargill, Dominion, I'almcrston. Wellington Tramways, Invercargill Oarrison, Auckland licginiental, Wellington City, M'ang.inui, Queen Alexandra (tiisborne), Woolston, St. Kilda, Timaru Regimental, and Wulignum Garrison. •'J'." grade-Wellington AVatersiders, Lin wood, Dargaville, Whaiigarei, Marton, Hamilton, Unehunga, Taranaki liiflcs.
