Many of the inhabitants who 1 had returned are re-fleeing in terror. AN OFFICIAL STATEMENT. London, January 18. The Japanese Embassy (states that half the houses at Sakurashinia were destroyed, and it is believed that all the inhabitants, except two hundred, escaped. Twenty-four were killed anil wounded at Kagoshhna.
