The lirsl match for Hie Taranaki dial, lenge shield was fired on Thursday at Kaponga. when the Kapouga Rille Club defeated Eltham by. 27 points. The conditions were eight men n-side, seven shot*,at each of the 300, 500 and 600 yards ranges. The respective scores were: Kaponga, 740, Eltham 713. Rifleman F.
