Hie death is reported bv cable of Col. Vernon, late (ibvi-mment architect at Darlmglmrst, New South Wales. Tbe death occurred at New Plymouth yesterday of Mr Fred Gibbons, df Puniho, at the a S « of «7 years. Tho funeral will take place to-morrow.
