Love was less fortunate, a rafter falling across his neck and shoulder, pin>iing 'hifa down .in his chair, ami rendering him powerless to move until rescued. He escaped. with a few minor bruises. Thomison was 1 afterwards rescued Mild wa.s found to have escaped injury. Tnvercargill reports that a. fierce gale caused considerable damage.
