The Dominion's Commission heard evidence as to the drain caused by emigration in the English country districts. Evidence was tendered by sonic members of tho Board of Agriculture ■ that correspondents complained of the ' activity of emigratiMi agents, and that there were no agricultural workers to spare, for emigration, and that it was not to the interest of tho Mother Country to be stripped of workers for the benefit of the colonies, also that unless free la ml and State facilities were offered', England would be at a disadvantage its compared with the colonies.
