BOARD OP AGRICULTURE.
MIXISTKI; IvXri.AtKS REGCLATIOXS . By Telegraph.—l'ress Association. Auckland. Last Night. Tlio constitution of tdiv Board or Agriculture will shortly be elTcctcd according to the regulations which were recently brought into operation. The selection of its members will he completed within six or eight weeks. The Hoard will comprise twelve members, of whom four will he directly nominated by the flovernor. and the others appointed upon the recommendation of the Agricultural and I'astoral Societies. Explaining the regulation- this evening, the Mini-ler for Agriculture (the Right Hon. \V. I'. Jlasseyt sa'd that for the purposes of the Act the Dominion will lie divided into eight districts, in each of which a meeting of representatives of the Sncieties in that district will be convened. Each Society will be invited to suml a delegate, and any one which is unable to arrange for representation by one of its own members will be able to a«!< some other delegate to vote for it. I'pcm receipt of the recommendations from these meetings, the flovernor will appoint four member:! to represent the South Island, and four the North Island. T'io re-iraining fcur members will be nominated alter the elective members have been chosen, and
the Cm-crnor will , alio appoint, the president and the vice-presidents from the personnel of the Board.
