Constable. Mciklcjohn -soon appeared, and, together with \lc--r-. lieid and O'Sullivan, made a .search of the premises. One of the bn-vs wa« found hidden among sonicstuck, while his youthful colleagues were -oon afterwards, discovered under some canvas IniiVicrugs. One of (hi boys had managed to secure a. few slrav shillings, which bad been taken from a tin ill the ollice, but tbe other two had nothing of value on them when searched. H is surmised that the youths gained an entrance In the promj'iscs- by a window at the rear of the building 1 .
